Barcode / RFID Reader Manufacturer Sought To Further Develop an Electronic Prototype of a New Security Technology to a Commercial Product (request)
A Scottish mid-sized paper manufacturer has developed a new security technology that allows single item identification (e.g. certificates, passports, travel passes, ID cards, entry tickets etc) using special luminous fibres embedded within the paper. They are seeking a device manufacturer, ideally within the barcode/RFID reader marketplace to take the electronic prototype and make it into a commercial reality through a joint venture, technical cooperation or a manufacturing agreement.
