ADAM: Microsoft takes a look at the development of ADAM
Microsoft is launching Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 and SQL Server™ 2005 with a road-show in more then 200 cities in 90 coutries. For Belgium, more then 2000 IT professionals gathered in Charleroi to discover the power of this new suite of development tools. AlfaPrint, the developer of ADAM, was used as an example of productive integration of the Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite in a presentation and testimonial.
Since a couple of months our developers are working on the Team Suite platform, a highly scalable, fully integrated set of software development processes, with faster development time and less errors as a result. ADAM users will benefit from these advantages in current and new versions.
"When we started thinking about a new version of ADAM at the beginning of this year, we saw that .NET Framework 2.0 was much more advanced that it was a few years ago. For example, because of the way it employs generics and iterators, we could save time core development", says .NET developer Joris Wynendaele.
